Summer Palace Dock
Another image from China. The Summer Palace is reached by taking a "dragon boat" across a lake. As we approached the landing, my eyes were drawn to this charming dock where the boats are harbored for the night. I love the colors in this image - the bright golds of the smaller roofs contrasted with the dark grays of the larger ones, the deep red of the large building, and the red faded to pink on the smaller one. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into China. And thanks for visiting my blog.
